ABOUT ME

Caitlin Mead began her dance training at a local studio in Thousand Oaks, California. She has trained and competed at an advanced level in several styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Modern, and Hip-Hop. She graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance and minor in Entrepreneurship at Chapman University in 2021. While at Chapman, Caitlin had the opportunity to work closely with professors including Alicia Guy, Jackie Sleight, Wilson Mendieta, Steven Sofia, Jenny Backhaus, and Larry Rosenberg. She has worked with outside artists such as Natalie Reid, Melinda Sullivan, Julie Magneville, and Nicole Harlan. During her time at Chapman, she has choreographed pieces for Works in Progress, Concert Intime, Mainstage Concert, and has produced dance in film projects. Caitlin is a four-year member of the Chapman Dance Alliance and has partaken in their annual shows as well as been featured in the Broadway-style production Chapman Celebrates in 2018 and 2019. Caitlin plans to pursue a commercial dance career in Los Angeles and New York City.
